In snowy winters, the daily prepared cross-country trails wind from the valley entrance in Rasun to the biathlon center Südtirol Arena Alto Adige and even up to the Staller Sattel - a cross-country paradise for beginners and advanced skiers. The cross-country ski school Anterselva offers numerous courses and the possibility to prove yourself at the shooting range as well.

The mountain world of the Vedrette di Ries-Aurina nature park trumps with dream destinations for ski mountaineers and snowshoe hikers, who sometimes even have them all to themselves. After the effort, a breathtaking mountain panorama and rewarding descents await you. For those who prefer the ski lift uphill, Plan de Corones is the largest ski area in Val Pusteria and can be reached in just 20 minutes by car or by ski bus. For families, the moderately steep Riepenlift in Antholz offers an ideal alternative.

Also in winter you can discover Anterselva on foot, we recommend the combination with a warming hut stop and a fun sledge run on one of the tracks at the end of the valley, or a leisure walk from the Edelweiss to Antholz Obertal and across the frozen Antholz Lake.
